Add a new item
Click the New Item button and complete the item form. More
Change the list view
To change the items you see in the list, click Active Items to show only active items; click Inactive Items to show only items you have made inactive; click Inventory Items to see only the items you've indicated are inventory items; or click All Items to show both active and inactive items.
Delete an item
To delete an item, point to the left of the item and click the Trashcan.
You can’t delete an item if it has been used on an invoice. But, you can make the item inactive.
Edit an item
To edit an item, point to the left of the item and click Edit.
Make the changes and click Save Changes.
Exporting the list
To export your items, filter and sort the list to view the items the way you want to export them and then click the csv link at the top of the list (next to the printer icon).
Importing items
To import your items, click the Import Items link and follow the 4 easy steps.
Sort the list
To sort the list, click the heading you want to sort by:
The direction of the orange arrows indicates if the sort is ascending
or descending
. The arrow pointing
up means the entries are sorted in ascending order: (A to Z) for words,
lowest to highest order for numbers, and earliest to latest for dates.
The arrow pointing down means the entries are sorted in descending order:
(Z to A) for words, highest to lowest order for numbers, and latest to
earliest for dates.
Click the sort direction arrow to reverse the sort.
Print the list
To print the Items List, click the printer icon:
