Exporting the Items List

When you export your Items List, WorkingPoint creates a CSV file of the current list view. You can change the current view by filtering and sorting the list. For example, if you have the View filter set to Active Items and the sort set to Name ascending (A-Z), WorkingPoint will export only your active items in ascending order by name.

The following item information is included in an export: Active Status, Item Name, Price Per Unit, Sales Account, Item Description, Unit Description, Taxable, Quantity, and Average Cost Per Unit.

To export the Items List:

  1. Click the Items tab to open the Contacts List.

  2. Choose the view (Active, Inactive, Inventory, All).

  1. (Optional) Choose the sort order.

  1. Click the export icon at the top of the list (next to the printer icon).

The exported file will have the name "items.csv" in case you need to search for it.
