When a customer has accepted your quote, you can easily turn it into an invoice. This save you time—you don’t need to start all over and create an invoice. WorkingPoint uses the information you’ve already entered.
Quotes appear in the Invoices List with the status as “quote” and dashes in the Balance and Due columns.

Note: Once you convert a quote into an invoice, the quote no longer exists. You cannot convert an invoice back to a quote or undo the convert to invoice action. |
To convert a quote into an invoice:
Click the Invoices tab to open the Invoices List.
Open the quote you want to turn into an invoice by clicking its link in the Invoice column.
On the quote form, click Convert to Invoice.

Change the date on the invoice to today’s date. WorkingPoint calculates the due date based on the date you enter and your terms you set up in Settings.
Click Save Changes.

Note: You can't convert a quote into an invoice or save a quote as an invoice if doing so would cause the available quantity of an inventory-tracked item to fall below zero or the creation of the invoice would exceed any plan limits. You can also convert a quote to an invoice from the quote edit mode. When you are viewing a quote in edit mode, make any necessary changes and then click Save as Invoice. |
