Creating a WorkingPoint Company Profile is a great way to market your company, increase your SEO, and protect your company against spammers. More
With a few clicks, you can share all about yourself, your products and services, and your team with just your team, other WorkingPoint subscribers, or with the whole wide world.
To create your Company Profile:
Click the Profile tab.
Click Edit Profile under your name in the left hand corner of the Profile.
You can also click Edit Profile from the Welcome widget on the home page.
Choose who can see your profile: Just your users, the WorkingPoint Community, or the Whole Wide World.
By selecting the whole world, you will appear in search engines, like Google and Yahoo!, and your login page will be replaced with your profile. But don't worry, you will be able to login using a link in the upper right hand corner.
Update and show your Contact Information and Industry.
This includes your website URL, whether you want to show your address and phone number as displayed in your Settingsm and which categories your profile will appear under in the member directory. You can also upload a photo to display on your profile that showcases your business.
Add a overview of your company in About Your Company to describe your experience, expertise, or product line.
Select which of our users to feature on your company profile and whether or not they can receive messages. The names displayed are the active WorkingPoint users on your account.
Administrators can edit these settings along with the individual profiles of users, while users can only update their individual profile information and photo.
Share content from other sources with your Company Profile visitors, like Twitter, Yelp and your blog.
To save your settings, click Save Changes.
