From Gmail, you can export your contacts into a vCard (.vcf) or comma-separated values (.csv) file. Be sure to export to Outlook CSV file format, not Google's CSV format (which is used only for importing into another Gmail account).
To export your Gmail contacts:
Log into your Gmail account.
In the right sidebar, click Contacts.
In the upper right on your Contacts list page, click the Export link.
Choose the contacts you want to export: by group or everyone.
Select vCard (recommended) or Outlook CSV format as the file format.
Click Export.
In the dialog box that appears, select the Save button and click OK.
Depending on which browser or operating system you use, you might be able to choose the location where the file is saved, or the file might be saved to a "Downloads" folder automatically.
The exported file will have the name "contacts.vcf" for vCard ("contacts.csv" for Outlook) in case you need to search for it.
