Exporting contacts from your Apple Address Book

You can export one or more contacts in the Apple Address Book as electronic business cards, also called vCards.

To export a vCard:

1. Open your Apple Address Book.

2. In the Group column, choose All or choose a group you've set up.

3. In the Name column, select one or more contacts that you want to export.

4. Choose File > Export > Export Group vCard. (If you are exporting only one contact, choose Export vCard.)

5. Type a name for the file, choose a location to export it to, and then click Save.
