Exporting the Contacts List

When you export your Contacts List, WorkingPoint creates an export file of the current list view. You can change the current view by filtering and sorting the list. For example, if you have the View filter set to All and the sort set to Name ascending (A-Z), WorkingPoint will export all of your contacts in ascending order by name.

WorkingPoint can export the current view of your Contacts List to following formats:

The following contact information is included in an export: Company Name, First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, Primary Phone and memo, Alternate Phone 1 and memo, Alternate Phone 2 and memo, Fax number, Website URL, address including Street, City, State, Postal Code, and Country and any Notes.

To export the Contacts List:

  1. Click the Contacts tab to open the Contacts List.

  2. Choose the view (All, Customers, Vendors, People, Companies, Imported in Last Day).

  1. (Optional) Choose the sort order.

  1. Select vCard or CSV export icon as the file format at the top of the list (next to the printer icon).

The exported file will have the name "contacts.vcf" for vCard  and "contacts.csv" for CSV in case you need to search for it.
