BNET Review of WorkingPointDave Johnson writes the Business Hacks column for BNET.com along with Rick Broida. Dave was very complimentary about the overall design and user experience he found in WorkingPoint. Here are some excerpts from his review, Free, Easy Invoicing and Bookkeeping with WorkingPoint:

I’m drawn to WorkingPoint because of its clean and easy to understand interface. I don’t feel overwhelmed with financial jargon and ugly design like with most bookkeeping programs.

The site has a great dashboard to manage and review your financial statements, bills, expenses, invoices, and more.

for a small business looking for a simple but effective accounting package, the free version of WorkingPoint looks pretty good to me.

I like “Working Point” and look forward to fully merging into it…as soon as it is ready…for right now “Working Point” is lop-sided meaning that it is great for invoicing..however if you are a product based business there is no way you can handle a return item. Also on the payment side you can only pay one invoice at a time. If you pay a lump sum for two invoices the second invoice shows as unpaid. So Working Point is still not ready.

The features that should be considered to be included in the basic subscription should be “recurring billing”, “recurring invoicing”, Credit To customer with return and Credit from Vendor.

The platform is setup for success.. and I am anxiously waiting for completion of these basic features.

Afzar, we appreciate your point of view. Returns and Recurring Bills and Invoices are high on our priority list of features we’d like to release to you. However, we have a few things that we have to address first. Stay tuned.
